Evently is currently seeking both Coordinator Assistants and Lead Coordinators to join our growing team. These roles operate as 1099 contractor positions and are ideal for individuals who love the fast-paced energy of wedding days and take pride in creating seamless, thoughtful experiences for couples and their guests.
This role is not a part-time position. Hours vary based on bookings and typically range from 10–40 hours per month, depending on the role and event schedule. Team members have the flexibility to select which weekends they are available to work and which cities they are willing to travel to, with schedules typically confirmed three or more months in advance.
Our primary market is Louisville, Kentucky, though we regularly serve clients throughout Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Team members should be comfortable traveling to events across the region and must have reliable transportation. Travel compensation is provided and varies based on the event.
Event days are dynamic and hands-on. Team members should be prepared to be on their feet for full wedding days (sometimes up to 14 hours) and thrive in environments that require flexibility, strong organization, and a calm, positive presence. A successful Evently team member is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to remain composed while managing the many moving parts of a wedding day.
Weekend availability is essential, as most events take place on Saturdays and Sundays. Team members must also be able to commit to event dates up to 12+ months in advance to ensure consistent support for our clients.
Compensation for these contractor roles is $20 per hour for Coordinator Assistants and $25 per hour for Lead Coordinators.
Lead Coordinators should have previous experience coordinating weddings and must be comfortable managing client communication, including responding to emails, taking phone calls, and attending planning meetings Monday–Friday (meeting times are flexible).
Coordinator Assistants should bring a strong willingness to learn and grow within the events industry. Previous event experience is helpful but not required.
All team members should have access to WiFi, a computer, and a phone, along with excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in high-energy environments.
